outcrop

Just out: a new anthology from Black Rider Press entitled Outcrop: radical Australian poetry of land. Alarmingly, Pete Spence and I are the oldest people in it. It's as polemical as any anthology of contemporary poetry is (and should be). The nineties and early noughies were fallow years in general for non-conservative Australian poetries. Here's evidence that the last few years have seen some exciting work appearing.
